Who is responsible

Mustapha Desert Travel is the controller of any personal data you send through this website. The address and contact details at the foot of this page are the ones to use for any question about your data.

What we collect

Only what you type into the booking form. There is no account to create, no newsletter, and nothing is gathered in the background.

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your telephone or WhatsApp number, if you give one
• The number of travellers and your preferred date
• Whatever you choose to write in the message field

What happens to it

This website has no server and no database — nothing you type is stored here. When you press send, your browser assembles what you wrote into a WhatsApp message and opens WhatsApp so that you can send it. That means the message travels through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta, and a copy stays in your own WhatsApp history as well as ours. We use it to answer you and to arrange your journey, and for nothing else. We do not sell it, and we share it only with the hotel, camp or driver needed to deliver the trip you booked.

Why we are allowed to

Because you asked us for a quote. Under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR we may process your details in order to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then to carry it out. If you would rather not use the form, telephone or email us instead.

Cookies and tracking

There are none. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does not profile you or follow you across other websites. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Services this site relies on

Two, and both see your IP address as an ordinary part of delivering the page to you:

• Cloudflare Pages, which hosts this site and serves its files.
• Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces. Your browser fetches them from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address.

Photographs

Some photographs on this site show guests who have travelled with us, published with their permission. If you are in one and would like it taken down, write to us and it will come down.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or the UK you can ask us to:

• show you what we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete it
• stop using it
• send you a copy in a portable format
